Dacre goes to Hollywood

Madonna’s film-making hubbie, Guy Ritchie, is currently working on a new movie in which one of the characters is a tabloid reporter who is incapable of applying accuracy to a story.

The character, unlike any in Fleet Street, is frequently in trouble for getting things wrong. I learn that Ritchie has spent ages pondering over a name for the character.

He has finally settled on calling him “Saul Dacre”. Of course, this has nothing to do with Ritchie’s opinion of Daily Mail editor Paul Dacre.
