Axegrinder was gratified to see Press Gazette name-checked on cult US comedy programme The Daily Show this week.

Host Jon Stewart was tickled by a story on PressGazette.co.uk revealing that the New Zealand parliament has taken steps to outlaw satire (admittedly PA deserves credit as the original source).

Stewart said: â€œTo the people of New Zealand, you may not be able to shit on your politicians, but I can be your anus.â€
