Kelvin shows us he’s got some bottle

Some apparently gratuitous product placements have begun creeping into former Sun editor Kelvin Mackenzie’s weekly column.

In this week’s piece he said it was only a matter of time before the “health police” begin putting warnings on bottles of booze. While doing so, he also said: “I like my drink – Majestic do a brilliant Sauvignon Blanc served ice cold at £7.99.”

Surely the former Beast of Bouverie Street is not hoping grateful Majestic PRs will now send him a case of the stuff.

If so, Axegrinder feels so outraged that he will immediately have to cool down with a pint of his favourite tipple – Harveys bitter – an award-winning ale that tastes great any time.
