Reluctant to slam Gordon?

More evidence of the close friendship between Daily Mail editor Paul Dacre and our Prime Minister.

My EU watcher says: “It’s quite extraordinary that even when Gordon Brown signs treaties about our political future, the Daily Mail still can’t bring itself to criticise the PM directly.”

In its leader the other day, the paper attacks “members of the EU elite” but nowhere is the name Brown mentioned. It’s good to have friends in high places, I say.
