Spectator editor Matthew d’Ancona is almost as well known these days for his networking prowess as his journalistic acumen.
His latest friend on the Facebook website is a certain Cooper Brown, who writes a page in The Independent’s features section once a week.
However, Brown is not a real person, and his column is a spoof about the life and times of a shameless networker on the London arts scene.
Axegrinder wonders when the Facebook phenomenon will die down? Perhaps never!
