Infographics gongs for BBC and Guardian

The BBC and the Guardian were the only British news organisations to take away prizes from from the Malofiej 14 International Infographics Awards at the University of Navarra in Spain last week.

In the online category, BBC News Interactive won the Best in Show prize for its coverage of last year’s general election, plus a silver medal for its online election swingometer.The Guardian added to its by now bulging trophy cabinet as its web site took a gold medal for a portfolio of work and the print side took two silver medals for projects including “The Rise of China”.
