BBC News 24 interviews the wrong Guy

Technology journalist Guy Kewney was left waiting at BBC Television Centre after last week being booked to provide expert commentary on the judgement in the lawsuit between Apple Corps records and Apple Computer on BBC News 24.
What he didn’t know at the time was that presenter Karen Bowerman was busy interviewing someone completely different on the segment. After biting his lip at being introduced as Kewney, the bemused black man with a French accent made a good stab at answering Bowerman’s questions.
The BBC’s Newswatch programme has covered the cockup, insisting that the BBC has no idea who the mystery interviewee was. But the Times has reported that the man was a taxi driver.
The blogosphere is, of course, loving it. The full video of the segment has emerged, has predictably gone viral and is available on YouTube:
