@Society of Editors: Press Gazette editor as YouTube star

During John Naughton’s game of hands-up-if-you-use-web 2.0-tools, Press Gazette editor Ian Reeves made the mistake of raising his hand in response to the question about who had ever used YouTube.

Proving the point Naughton was hoping to make, my boss found himself as the only editor in the room with his hand aloft.

So what has he put on YouTube? Why his Sunday League football antics, of course. Check out the pace on number 23!

Update: To be fair, I was one of only a handful of Flickr users in the room. Here’s my photostream. Links to yours in the comments, please.

Go Press Gazette :) I dunno why I’m still shocked when I hear how few UK editors have ever heard of these tools and their impact. A couple of years ago they could (almost) be forgiven, but now… Ouch.

Enjoying your live coverage, keep it up. You know where my pics are.
