Brand Republic editor Gordon McMillan has had a little pop at this blog today.

The reason this place has been nearly silent since last November is that when Press Gazette temporarily closed on 24 November, I left to go freelance. For the last few months, the top post on the blog pointing out that this blog was continuing over on my personal web site, where it has been doing rather nicely, thank you.

I removed that post recently because I’m now back at Press Gazette under its new ownership. The redevelopment of this blog — and indeed this web site — is one of my major projects at the moment. Normal blogging service should resume around here shortly.
