		<description>[...] CNN and the consumer Chris Press from CNN presented in his session “CNN and the consumer” a bit about the iReport from CNN. The most interesting part is that they keep iReport completely separate from CNN in regards of branding. It works as its own community that still allows CNN to pick content from. This means that the content from the users FIRST appears on iReport as its own piece of content and then taken on air. This also functions as a security mechanism, because the users help them find dodgy content that shouldn’t be aired. The community acts as a watchdog and moderator for user contributed content. I do think that it’s a fairly good idea, and it reduces the risk of publishing wrongfully content on a heavily branded news site. He also noted that people love to send in videos of weather reports.  Martin Stabe has written more about that session here. [...]</description>
