Guardian’s US video experiment forces resigination of Republican aide

A Guardian Films project to cover the US Presidential primaries with daily online video has led to the resignation of an aide to Rudy Guliani, a Republican candidate.

Guardian filmmaker Patrick Farrelly writes on Guardian Unlimited that coverage of John Deady telling him that the former New York mayor would rid America of Muslims “or in other words get rid of them”, was picked up by Fox News, found its way onto Youtube and resulted in him quitting.
