Former Independent on Sunday deputy editor Michael Williams has joined the journalism centre at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston as a senior lecturer.
The 59-year-old will continue in his role as the Sindy’s readers’ editor and will divide his time between London and Lancashire, according to the north-west media news site How Do.
