Madeleine McCann ‘drops down newslist at Standard’

A new development in the Madeleine McCann story was “buried inside” the Evening Standard because the story is no longer said to be a circulation booster, according the Independent on Sunday’s Feral Beast column.

The column also reports that veteran PA reporter Chris Moncrieff filed his Commons sketch from a hospital bed on Wednesday after suffering from heart problems.
