Premiership manager to complain over striker talks claim

Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill is to complain to the Press Complaints Commission over newspaper reports that he held talks with Tottenham Hotspur star Jermain Defoe, according to the Wolverhampton Express and Star.

The Daily Mirror, Daily Telegraph and the Birmingham Post all reported that the England striker had visited Villa’s training ground, something O’Neill denies entirely.
