That's a bit rich, given how laughably bad the Independent's web presence has been up to now. At first glance, the new site seems a marked improvement, to be fair. But job descriptions like 'upload breaking news stories' don't augur well. Online journalism is no longer about being able to use a CMS or FTP tool. If ever it was. ‘Reaffirms our commitment’?
