ITV sports overhaul sees Jim Rosenthal leave channel

Veteran ITV sports broadcaster Jim Rosenthal is reported to have been axed from the channel after more than 28 years on air, according to The Sun and the Daily Mail.
The decision not to renew Rosenthal’s contract comes as part of a “major overhaul” of ITV’s sports coverage. It has ditched live coverage of this year’s Euro 2008 football final, and is bidding £425m for the rights to FA Cup and England matches.
