A bidding war has erupted between two rival US broadcasters for an exclusive interview with the parents of missing British girl Madeline McCann.
According to the Daily Mail, Kate and Gerry McCann are in talks with talk show veterans Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters. The rumoured £1m fee would be “the largest publicly-known amount ever paid for a broadcast interview”, the paper claims.
