Mother says press coverage ‘glamourised’ suicide

The mother of a 15-year-old boy who killed himself has blamed the media for her son’s death.
Nathaniel Pritchard died in Bridgend last week. A spate of teenage suicides has made the south Wales town the focus of media attention.
His mother, Sharon, told BBC News: “The media coverage put an idea into Nathaniel’s head. We feel it glamourised ways of taking your life.”
