News Corp names new financial director for Europe and Asia

UK journalists at News International and Sky have a new man in charge of the purse strings. As another News Corp title the Wall Street Journal reports today, chief executive James Murdoch has appointed Mark Williams as chief financial officer for Europe and Asia.
Williams will move from Sky Italia at the end of the month and will remain a non-executive member of that company’s board.
