Time Out’s editor-at-large Michael Hodges has launched his campaign to become an independent candidate for London Mayor and is asking readers to pledge money to make up the £10,000 deposit needed to enter the race.
Hodges, who is being backed by the magazine, has already pledged to get the London freesheets to disclose how much of the licence money paid by their publishers goes towards paying for street cleaning. He said that amount should then be doubled.
