BBC names preferred bidder for outside broadcast unit

The BBC has named racing TV company SIS as the preferred bidder for its outside broadcast unit, which it is looking to offload.
The deal, reported by the Daily Telegraph to be worth around £50m, would see BBC OB Unit staff transferred to SIS later this year.
