BBC film lifts lid on crucial pre-Iraq war talks

The BBC will this week air a documentary, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of the war in Iraq, lifing the lid on the crucial talks which took place in the weeks leading up to the invasion.

Writer Ronan Bennett tells the Guardian: “Over the past months I have worked with a team of BBC researchers to find out what really happened in those difficult days. We scrutinised documents and interviewed those involved.”

10 Days to War, launches tonight at 10.30pm on BBC2.
