Observer crowns Huffington Post world’s most powerful blog

The Huffington Post has topped an Observer list of the world’s 50 most powerful blogs.
“The Huffington Post quickly became one of the most influential and popular journals on the web,” the paper says. “It recruited professional columnists and celebrity bloggers. It hoovered up traffic.”
New York gossip blog Gawker comes in at number 10. The Observer also has an interview with its founder, Nick Denton
