London talk radio station LBC has apologised after making unsubstantiated allegations about Sir Norman Wisdom’s family, reports MediaGuardian.
LBC presenter Steve Allen made the on-air apology this week after Wisdom’s family complained that a letter read out had inaccurately portrayed the care provided for the veteran comedian, who has Alzheimer’s disease.
