The Daily Mail today published its apology to Nicolas Cage, after the actor settled his libel dispute with Kathleen Turner over claims in her autobiography, serialised by the paper.
“Our serialisation of the book Send Yourself Roses by Kathleen Turner on 22 January contained allegations by her that Nicolas Cage had been arrested twice for drunk driving and once for stealing a dog,” the page 20 apology reads.
“Miss Turner and we accept that there is no truth in these allegations and apologise to Mr Cage for any embarrassment caused.”
