BBC radio chief leaves corporation with £3.9m pension

The BBC’s outgoing radio boss, Jenny Abramsky, has built up a final salary pension pot worth £3.89m in her 39-year career at the corporation, the Sunday Times has revealed.

Abramsky, the BBC director of audio and music who is stepping down this summer to join the Heritage Lottery Fund, will be able to draw an annual pension of £190,000.
