The National looks to grow subscriptions base

Martin Newland’s new English-language daily newspaper in Abu Dhabi is planning to offer subscriptions for $110 (£55) a year, according to the International Herald Tribune.
The paper already has 30,000 trial subscribers and is printing 80,000 copies a day.
