Granta has appointed former deputy literary editor of the Observer, Alex Clark, to take over as editor when Jason Cowley leaves in September to join the New Statesman, reports Media Guardian.
Clark, who writes the “My So-Called Week” column in the Observer review section, said: “I am thrilled to be the new editor of Granta, a magazine that has been central to my reading for longer than I can remember.”
