Former Daily Telegraph proprietor Conrad Black is rumoured to be considering selling his 45 per cent stake in the Catholic Herald.
The Observer revealed last week that the press baron, currently in jail for fraud, had resigned as a director of the paper. He became involved with the paper when he converted to Catholicism in the early Nineties.
