Fox News presenter axed for Obama ‘terrorist’ joke

A Fox News presenter has been sacked after she described Barack Obama’s greeting to his wife as a “terrorist fist jab”.

According to the Daily Telegraph, E D Hill made the comment after the US democratic presidential nominee and his wife bumped fists - a common greeting derived from black street culture.

A spokesman for the Media Matters watchdog tells the paper: “This is part of a broader problem with Fox: out of bound comments are followed by a half-baked apology. At some point Fox has got to decide if it is a responsible news source.”
