Ken Livingstone: Evening Standard editor is ‘pure evil’

Former London mayor Ken Livingstone has used an Observer interview to hit out at the journalists who have railed against him.
He describes Veronica Wadley, editor of the Evening Standard - which campaigned against his re-election - as “pure evil”. And he refuses to liken Daily Mail columnist Amanda Platell to an attack dog “because that’s unfair to attack dogs”.
Livingstone will be presenting the afternoon show on London talk radio station LBC from 30 June to 4 July.
