Black models issue of Vogue hits Italian newsstands

The editor of the Italian edition of Vogue has said she did not consult publisher Condé Nast before announcing she was to publish an all-black issue of the fashion bible.

Speaking to the Independent, Franca Sozzani - who has just put the finishing touches to the black-only July issue - said: “I didn’t tell them before, only afterwards. Both my presidents in Italy in New York were very happy.”
