The Times follows the Sun on to the streets

News International has begun asking the distributors of London evening free paper thelondonpaper to help sell The Times in the morning, according to the Observer media diary.

The move towards street sales to help boost circulations follows that of NI stablemate The Sun, which began handing out cut-price copies on London street corners last year.
