Mecom buoyed by news of Norwegian newspaper bid

European newspaper publisher Mecom is reported to have received an unsolicited mystery bid for its Norweigan newspaper division.
Shares in the company, led by former Mirror Group executive David Montgomery, rose 3.75p to 23p on Friday as the rumours circulated.
