The BBC has served a statutory demand for money on Stephen Green, the founder of campaign group Christian Voice, who lost a high court battle against the corporation and now faces £90,000 in legal costs.
Christian Voice lost a blasphemy case in the high court over the controversial Jerry Springer: The Opera. Green tells the Observer: “They are demanding their pound of flesh. There’s no commercial sense in pursuing someone worth a fraction of the money owed.”
