Informa chief: Make a bid now, I need a holiday

Informa chief executive Peter Rigby has urged the group of private equity firms circling the publisher to make a bid sooner rather than later - because he wants a summer holiday.

“When you have got this going on you would almost rather get on with running the business, you would like to find out what the story is and have a summer holiday,” he said yesterday.
