ITV has entered into a period of consultation with staff about another round of job losses, according to the Sunday Times, with unions expecting to hear more about the cuts in September.
Analysts predict the broadcaster’s 6,000 headcount could be slashed by up to 10 per cent. The company is expected to report another slump in profits when it announces its results on Wednesday.
