The News of the World’s informant in the Max Mosley orgy sting operation - and her ex-MI5 husband - have spoken to the Mail on Sunday about the “spank and tell” operation.
In an interview, the pair say they agreed to sell the story as a way of getting out of debt - and insist that no one at MI5 was aware that they were planning the sting.
The man - who cannot be named - says: “I am the one who rang the News of the World offering to sell my wife’s story and sorted out the deal.”
