BBC issues pronunciation guidance to Olympics staff

The BBC has issued a pronunciation guide to staff covering the Olympics, described as “the size of a very thick brick”.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the guide was issued following complaints that the BBC was mispronouncing the names of Chinese places and athletes.
