Yahoo! News Olympics gallery in ‘Tiananmen’ mix-up

Awkward mistake of the day comes courtesy of Yahoo! News, which accidentally gave a slideshow of pre-Olympics photographs the headline: “Tiananmen Square Massacre Remembered”.

According to the Guardian, the mistake was on display for about 24 hours before it was corrected. Yahoo! said in a statement that it was due to an error with the automated gallery feature.
