BBC apologises for football reporter’s Madrid crash comment

He says he was simply trying to be descriptive, but BBC Radio Manchester has had to apologise for a freelance football reporter’s comparison of a live match to the Madrid air disaster.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Chris Price was covering the Bradford vs Rochdale League One match on Saturday when he said during a live report that Rochdale “were making more holes in the Bradford defence than a Spanish aircraft”.
