Window-licker comments see two BBC radio presenters suspended

Two presenters on BBC Southern Counties radio have been suspended after using the term window-licker on air.
Ian Hart told a fan to “go and lick a window” and Andrew Hawkes then urged “any window-lickers out there” to call the show. A spokesman for Mencap told the Daily Telegraph that they were appalled by the use of such “offensive language”.
