Jim Hancock returns to Granada

Former BBC North West Tonight political editor, Jim Hancock, is returning to Granada to present the “What the political papers say” segment on Party People on Thursday nights, reports How Do.
Hancock will be reunited with his former Granada producer Rob McLoughlin.
Hancock said:”It will be a shame if the excellent political journalism of the team does not survive the cuts in ITV regional programmes in some form.”
“It’s good to get Jim out of the house and back into the studio,” added McLoughlin. “He’s finally forgiven me for all those years of cut throat competition between Granada and the BBC, which of course we won.”
