Google map highlights online video news excellence

Former Press Gazette editor Ian Reeves has produced a Google map highlighting examples of online video excellence from local and national newspapers around the world.

It ties in with a piece he has written in the January issue of Press Gazette investigating the way ahead for local online video journalism following the BBC’s decision to ditch its online local TV plans.

Reeves, who is now head of learning on the journalism course at the University of Kent, has highlighted five examples from the UK so far.
