Marcus Rich is new Mail on Sunday managing director

Associated Newspapers today announced the appointment of Marcus Rich as managing director for the Mail on Sunday and deputy managing director of Mail Newspapers.

Rich was previously at Emap, where he was in charge of two divisions – Emap Lifestyle Magazines and Emap Advertising, with a portfolio including Heat, Grazia, Closer, FHM and Q magazines.

Rich was in the management team that oversaw the sale of Emap Consumer Media to German publishing giant Bauer last year. He will take up his new post in February.
