Telegraph bolsters mobile team and hires from Google

Telegraph Media Group has announced two appointments in its mobile division.
Telegraph Labs product development manager Maani Safa has been appointed head of mobile.
And Mike Jennings, who worked on Google’s Androidmobile project, joins the publisher to oversee its mobile engineering.
“Mobile is an increasingly important platform for our readers and our advertisers, and the appointment of Maani and Mike into these key roles will help us build upon the successes we’ve already had in this space,” said TMG chief information officer Paul Cheesbrough.
