Telegraph.co.uk claims top UK newspaper web title

Telegraph.co.uk has repeated its claim to be the UK’s biggest newspaper website, citing unaudited figures from Nielsen Net Ratings.

According to the data, Telegraph.co.uk claims 4.4 million UK unique uers a month, compared with 3.9 million for Guardian.co.uk and 3.1 million for Times Online.

Unlike ABCe - which puts the Guardian ahead by some way - Nielsen data is based on a panel of 40,000 web users, whose usage is tracked at home and in the office.
