Strike across BBC news services is called off

A planned BBC-wide strike over plans to move World Service jobs overseas has been cancelled after the NUJ has reported progress in talks with BBC management.
Two one-day strikes were planned next month which could have severely disrupted the BBC’s entire news network.
The NUJ is concerned about proposals to move jobs from the World Service South Asia section from London to locations in South Asia.
