IoS claims Martin Newland to step down at National

Former Daily Telegraph editor Martin Newland is said to be stepping down as editor of The National, the Abu Dhabi English-language newspaper he helped set up last year.

Newland did not return calls from the Independent on Sunday’s Feral Beast column. But it claims he will continue to work for the paper but not as editor.
