BBC ‘hypocrisy’ charge over Evan Davis seat on thinktank board

The Mail on Sunday reports that the BBC is leaving itself open to charges of hypocrisy by asking newsreader George Alagiah to step down as a patron of the Fairtrade Foundation while allowing Today host Evan Davis to sit on the advisory board of the Social Market Foundation.
The thinktank has the slogan: “Marrying markets with social justice.”
